Siargao Safety

No offence but yes you do sound like a broken record. The topic of safety in Mindanao has been discussed NUMEROUS times and many threads could be found with a simple search of the forums, like the examples below. The short answer is yes, Siargao is very safe, much safer than the rest of the Philippines and thousands of times safer than any big city in the US. Don't cancel your trip and remember how ridiculous you were worrying about Siargao, and Mindanao for that matter, when you are kicking back relaxing hardcore in Siargao. I've travelled all over the world and I can only name 2 or 3 places that are as laid back, friendly and safe as Siargao - Bungchow
