FOREIGNERS Living Simple Philippines ISLAND Life In SIARGAO
April 25th 2020 - As foreigners visiting the Philippines it's easy to see it just as a beautiful tourist destination. We didn't know much about the simple life here and how the locals do things. But since being stranded in Siargao during the lockdown we've had our eyes opened to the way of life here. It has forced us to go back to the old ways, a form of survival mode where you must explore the basic skills required to make life livable in a certain environment.
Today we create a shelter for our plants using coconut tree branches so that we can grow our own food and protect it from the elements. Story does some composting and shows us that she can play happily without electronic stimulation too. Getting back to nature!
For now we are going to upload a daily video diary of the Siargao Island Lockdown scenario. This is day 39. Our regular family travel vlogs will resume publishing later.

We will be updating it day by day.
