The Siargao Cruise Port Project was inspected by Atty. Jay Daniel Santiago, PPA General Manager.
Atty. Jay Daniel Santiago, the General Manager of the Philippine Ports Authority, personally examined the ongoing Cruise Port Project in Siargao Island to ensure that it is completed on time. The project aims to build the country's first dedicated port for cruise ships, which can hold large capacity vessels and is easily accessible via the Siargao Circumferential Road. Additionally, a cargo port located less than a kilometer from the Cruise Port is also under construction to serve as a vital supply chain link for the growing economy of the Siargao Group of Islands. Siargao will have a total of three ports when completed, with the present Port of Dapa serving exclusively for domestic RORO/passenger vessels and fastcrafts. A modern Port Operations Building (POB) will also be built at the Port of Dapa in 2024 to further enhance the port's operational capacity and services.
